Product description
This is a solid red dot by all standards. The build quality is excellent and very solid. Even the cantil. mount is surprisingly sturdy. The eye relief is better than my AP Pro, and as good as the M68s I have carried. (Never been a EO reticle fan FWIW).
Adjustments are easy. Caps have the notch to make thing simple. I can confirm the moa click adjustment count vortex supplies coincides with real world application. This went on a 16" mid-level carbine build that was just finished. I bore-sighted it, and had it dialed in after 3x3 rounds. I'm relatively pleased and I'm impressed by the glass clarity. This holds zero well.
Seriously, the only con I can find with this, is the 4 moa dot. I'd prefer 2 moa as I'm sure 99% would; most won't hit 100+ yds where you expect (no magification) as well as you would with 2 moa. Also, I prefer this over the PA micro due to the increased eye relief. I have 20/20 vision uncorrected btw.
If I really try to be critical, the selector option for red vs. green is somewhat hokie. Other than that, you won't be disappointed with this. No real world data on battery life yet. But for the arm chair operators that praise 5 years without a battery change, probably need to check their weapon more often. Buy it.
